Volunteers are the lifeblood of The Rocky Mountain Raptor Program. You can become one too! The RMRP allows volunteers to learn about raptor ecology and avian medicine, and to share these experiences with others in the community. Volunteers are trained to handle birds safely and efficiently, and to provide proper husbandry, physical therapy, and medical care for these magnificent birds of prey. Every task each volunteer performs helps to care for the hundreds of injured raptors we see each year.
Our 150+ volunteers come from all walks of life. The 7 full-time RMRP employees are always seeking interested persons to help keep the program up and running. If you have any questions, please call or email RMRP for more information. If this sounds like an opportunity you'd like to explore, please call or email us to reserve your space in our next orientation. |
